Five Habits That Ruin Your City Builder

City builders on mobile are deceptively easy to start and brutally easy to mismanage. I've watched more than one thriving town collapse because I ignored the basics.

Plan your roads first. Retrofitting traffic into a crowded city is a nightmare, and in Skyline Architect it's where most of my early saves fell apart.

Don't chase population numbers. A smaller, happy city generates more than a sprawling, miserable one. Services have to scale with growth, not lag behind it.

Keep a reserve. Expanding on your last bit of budget leaves no room for the emergencies the game loves to throw at you. Leave yourself a cushion and build slower.
