Skyline Architect

Skyline Architect scratches the city-building itch nicely on a phone. You zone districts, route traffic, and keep people happy, all through a touch interface that handles zooming and placement surprisingly well. The early game is forgiving; the later game asks you to juggle a lot at once.

I liked that services and citizen moods actually matter. Ignore your transit lines and watch complaints pile up fast. It rewards planning without becoming a spreadsheet.

Performance held up even with a sprawling city, which isn't a given for this genre on mobile. A solid pick for anyone who enjoys building and tweaking for hours.
